A whole person project: Create as We Are.

April 1,  12:00 - 3:00pm, In-person ONLY, Center for Visual Arts, Wausau, WI

This interactive workshop aims to invite and spark a conversation across cultures and generations, with the community on issues that are important to them such as: inclusivity, gender identity, race, trauma, etc. Participants will have an opportunity to adhere and choose their “words” to a completed backdrop or develop their personal panels to take home with them and continue exploration. They will also be able to craft their words with a die cutting tool, available during the workshop. Community members may choose to stay all three hours or drop in as they wish. Maday is a native Spanish speaker and is happy to converse with workshop participants in both languages. There are lots of ways to become involved with the project even if a person chooses not to stitch. All supplies are provided.
